Bravo Network was looking to develop a US TV broadcast version of the long running British radio show "Desert Island Discs" emphasizing our love affair with movies. The development process went down some interesting paths until the concept of "Confessions of a Movie Lover" was decided upon.  Hosted by Illeana Douglas with Stanley Tucci as the first confessor, the show explored the personal memories of movies and their effects on the lives of industry personalities.
